A soothing softening heat therapy for increasing blood flow, tolerance of pain, relaxes muscles and increases hydration in the skin. A combination of paraffin wax and Helichrysum Italicum essential oil.

The heated paraffin can be applied to any muscle and joint, the shoulder, knees and wrists and also to the feet and hands. It stimulating circulation, helping to ease pain caused by:

  • Arthritis

HOW PARAFFIN WAX TREATMENT IS CARRIED OUT........

The wax is gently painted on to the skin in gentle smoothing strokes layer after layer, so layers of paraffin wax are built up.  The wax then solidifies and turns opaque.  It is then allowed to harden.

To maximise the benefits of warm paraffin treatment the hands or feet are then wrapped in a plastic insert and then placed in an heated mitt or boot, for approximately 15 minutes, before the mitt or boot liner and solid wax is removed.  Other areas are covered in a liner and a towel.

Once the treatment is complete, the wax is peeled off and the area is then ready for massage, stretching, exercise, or additional therapeutic measures if necessary.

Importantly overall the treatment is painless, relaxing and pleasurable.
